Plain language, short clauses. This is how we work together, including the free preview, in writing.

SVDM Digital, also "we" or "us": the web studio based in Amsterdam. Client, also "you": the person or business that gives us an assignment or receives a preview.
Preview: the free preview website we build before any assignment exists. Website: the work we deliver after an assignment is agreed.
The preview is free and without obligation. You never pay for a preview, and receiving one commits you to nothing.
The preview remains our property until we agree on an assignment. Until then it may not be copied, published or rebuilt elsewhere.
We may take a preview offline or withdraw it at any time.
An assignment exists once you confirm in writing. Email or WhatsApp counts.
We deliver what was agreed in the quote or confirmation. Extra wishes are quoted first, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Delivery times are targets we take seriously. They also depend on how quickly we receive your content and feedback.
Every job is custom. You hear the exact price before the assignment starts, never after.
We invoice our work. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.
Recurring fees, such as hosting and maintenance, are billed in advance.
If an invoice remains unpaid after a reminder, we may pause work or hosting until it is settled.
Where agreed, we handle hosting, maintenance and changes, so you never have to think about it.
We aim to keep your site online at all times, but no one can guarantee a network never fails. If something breaks, we fix it as fast as we reasonably can.
Agreed monthly services run until cancelled, as described in article 8.
After full payment of the agreed setup amount, the design and content of your website become yours.
Until that moment, all work remains our property.
We may show delivered work in our portfolio, unless you object.
You guarantee that texts, images and logos you supply do not infringe anyone else's rights.
Our liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the assignment concerned.
We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Monthly services can be cancelled with one month's notice, unless a minimum term was agreed in the quote.
After cancellation we cooperate with the handover of your domain and files. Your site is yours to take with you.
These terms are governed by Dutch law.
Is there a disagreement? We talk first. If we truly cannot work it out, the Dutch court is competent.
If the English translation differs from the Dutch version, the Dutch version prevails.
